Ornella Parigi and Borgobello Ellida combined effectively to win the first Commercial Bank International Corporate Golf Challenge at Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club on Wednesday.

Ornella Parigi and Borgobello Ellida combined effectively to win the first Commercial Bank International Corporate Golf Challenge at Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club on Wednesday.

The pair carded an impressive 49 points, beating their closest challengers Steve Williams and Tina Tesfaye by a good four shots. Gareth Mordey and Davide Tobias settled for third place on 44 points, just one point ahead of Tony Bellingham and Paul Barbone.
The event, the first in a series of three sponsored by Commercial Bank International, generated a good response with nearly 70 players lining up for honour in the two-ball better-ball format.
The winning team of Ornella Parigi and Borgobello Ellida scored points on every hole to dominate the proceedings. Kris Babicci, CEO of Commercial Bank International presented the prizes.
