Suresh Shewakaramani and Ashok Kumar produced scintillating golf to win the Commercial Bank International Golf Challenge at the Emirates Golf Club.

Prize winners with David Power

The duo shot a brilliant 47 points to beat their nearest challengers Franco Bosoni and Gautam Sashittal by one shot in the event, which was played at the floodlit Faldo Course.

Featuring senior executives from corporate world, the event once again generated a tremendous response with 82 players lining up honours in this two-ball, better ball format.

The team of Shewakaramani and Ashok Kumar dominated the proceedings, scoring points on every hole. They could have done even better, but missed a couple of short-range putts.

David Power, head of retail banking group of Commercial Bank International, presented the prizes and thanked the players and the sponsors Jumeirah Group, Duplays, Aetna and Taylormade for making the event a great success.
