UAE Ministry of Health, Ras Al Khaimah benefits through Commercial Bank International noble gesture

Saqar Hospital, Ras Al Khaimah becomes the first hospital in Northern Emirates to offer minimal invasive outpatient procedure to Varicose Veins

Ras Al Khaimah, 16 January 2012:

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Commercial Bank International PSC (CBI), has donated a VNUS Radio Frequency Generator to the Ministry of Health of Ras Al Khaimah emirate.

H.E. Dr Yasser Isa Al Nuaimi, Director of Ministry of Health Ras Al Khaimah said of the new initiative; "This cooperation agreement is an excellent example of the Public and Private sector joining hands with a common goal of improving health outcomes for UAE residents. We welcome the long standing support of Commercial Bank International and this demonstrates how corporations can give back to the communities in which they operate”.

Dr. Al Nuaimi explained Saqar Hospital is one of the busiest surgical and trauma centers across Ras Al Khaimah and Northern Emirates. The Radio Frequency Generator will support both Radiology and Surgical departments within the hospital. He indicated that with minimal invasive treatment procedure to cure Varicose Veins, patient recuperation is faster which ultimately aids in more in patient rooms for needy.

Established in 1975 as per the Ministerial Resolution No. 28, RAK Ministry of Health comprises of 4 hospitals, 18 medical clinics and 4 health care units in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The district authority is committed to provide quality health to the citizens of emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
