CBI has launched Basel II Compliance Scheme

CBI and Ernst & Young have signed an agreement in which E&Y will assist CBI toward full compliance with Basel II Accord requirements.

CBI has launched in cooperation with Ernst & Young, Basel II Compliance Scheme.

CBI and Ernst & Young have signed an agreement in which E&Y will assist CBI toward full compliance with Basel II Accord requirements. An awareness session has been delivered to senior management of CBI chaired by Mr. Buharoon (CEO) by Ernst & Young team on Saturday, March 25th, 2006. More subsequent sessions will be held to enhance and support this awareness amongst different level of staff members. E&Y will conduct a gap analysis in this regard in cooperation with CBI's concerned team; and will provide and recommend a road map toward full compliance with Basel II requirements to be adopted by CBI.
